I don't know what hunting in your part of the world is like but if I had to sum up hunting here in the north west in one word I'd have to call it "unpredictable". The weather can change in a heartbeat so in a land where it occasionally snows in July it's best to be prepared.

A rifle that meets such demands must be able to stand up to the weather and physical abuse that mother nature and serious hunters anywhere can dish out.

As a result of this reality we've been experimenting with various finishes to protect your firearms for nearly a decade. First came hot blueing and parkerizing. Next came Teflon which was superior to blueing in that it was rust resistant. But the problem with Teflon is that it isn't as scratch resistant as we'd have liked. So... enter powder coating. It's rust resistant and incredibly tough. For the first time we have a finish that can stand up to abuse like no other finish ever has while at the same time protecting your new rifle from corrosion.
